As a Native northern Californian I grew up in the San Francisco bay area city of Orinda. After graduation from high school I went directly into the building industry as a sales floor agent in a local Lumber yard. This is where I learned a great deal about the building Industry and the trades from local contractors. A few years later after college decided I wanted to see the world and was invited to come and work in Switzerland where my girlfriend (later became my wife) had secured a job for me in the mountain town of Interlaken.
Upon my arrival back to the States we got married bought our first house and had our first child. I was interested in real estate largely due to my agent who worked tirelessly to help us get out first home. I have been encouraging people to buy homes long before I was an agent. In fact I bought & sold several homes after remodeling them in the bay area.
After relocating to the Seattle area in 1993, and another great experience with an agent there, my agent encouraged me to get my real estate license. I was first Licensed in 1995 honed my skills in the Seattle market, but California was calling me home, and in 2000 made the move to El Dorado Hills, where I got my Brokers License. I have been an active community member, Involved with my local church , and raised two great kids through our excellent schools here.
I believe that a home should be everyone's first major purchase. Of course it can be a great investment, but beyond that, it is the foundation of what I believe is important. It's your place of pride; it's where you raise your family and where you entertain friends. Real estate is an exciting business. I love the business aspect of it- the negotiating, the strategizing, and the challenge of achieving the best outcome for my clients.but the best part is sharing in the excitement of helping my clients. I pride myself in being honest and continually working toward a win-win solution for my clients in each transaction, knowing that I will answer to my God one day for each and every thing that I do. I believe that great communication is imperative, and I like to keep my clients informed at least once a week on our progress even if there is nothing to report. I tend to work proactively which helps to ensure that things don't unravel at any time.
Buying or selling a home is a HUGE accomplishment and opportunity for everyone. I am here to make that process as stress free and enjoyable as possible!!!
